[AU: Kaylee in Eden]
This ain't Persephone.
Kaylee ain't exactly sure what this place is, but it ain't Persephone. And that wall with "Eden" written on it, that ain't Serenity, which it should be, seeing as she just left her.
"Uh..." she hazards, rotating around slowly, checking out her surroundings, her smile fading with worry. "Cap'n?"

"Uh..." she hazards, rotating around slowly, checking out her surroundings, her smile fading with worry. "Cap'n?"

"Thirty-- percent organic material, the rest is-- brick and steal an'-- little-- bit of copper I found-- around here-"
Some might call it cheating. Sokka calls it amazing.

Kaylee doesn't break stride - much. She does grind a little harder on him though.
"Where did you get the ganic?"
no subject
"Broken crates lying around," Sokka gasps, his hands gripping her hips now, but not enough to impede her movement at all. "Plus there's-- dirt and rocks, once you pull up some of the stones. Got the copper right out of the electrical wires, just stripped the plastic off."
no subject
And she laughs.
"That's just the best thing I ever heard," she says, and looks down at him. "You find the insulation better with wood?"
no subject
He illustrates this with the vibration of other organic matter. Of course, 'vibration' is defined very, very loosely here.
"Since it's mostly wood, it doesn't even use up that much power itself - that much vibration, it powers itself just 'cause it's on."
no subject
That becomes a slightly louder groan.
Then she's just gasping loudly, throwing her head back and riding him hard.
no subject
Sokka follows her lead unconsciously, gasping and throwing his head back, feet braced on the floor to help lift his hips to reach hers, hard and fast.
The generator's still humming but it seems strangely off-beat now.
no subject
The jokes in her mind, but not her mouth, because her mouth isn't about to do anything except close tightly over his she she leans down, and shudders against him.

In moments like these, just about everything is powered by spirits.
no subject
Kaylee pushes back into him, and closes her eyes to let him finish, then kisses him immediately, hard and deep.
She otherwise doesn't move
no subject
Eventually, though, Sokka falls back against the floor, one arm around her waist, the other thrown over his head, panting hard and gasping harder, eyes on the ceiling.
And grinning.
"Hen hao a..."
no subject
"Been a while, huh?"
no subject
He laughs at the question, flushed from it, from the answer, or just from exertion is unclear. "Oh, yeah... years. Not you, though, obviously, unless that's your version of 'rusty.'"
no subject
"I didn't mean it like that!" she protests. "And months, actually. Not so much years."
no subject
The arm thrown over his head lifts and he uses those fingers to brush her hair back from her face, wanting to see her. "In that case, regular visits from you might actually kill me. So you know."
no subject
"Do people come here regular?" she asks, genuinely interested.
no subject
no subject
Instead she rolls off him, only to lie nested against him, fingers tracing a patterin on his stomach.
"Must get kinda awkward," she says instead, in blissful ignorance.
no subject
no subject
Well, things to see. Because she's looking at the generator.
"I think it's shiny. New machines, new people. It's nice."
no subject
"You really can hang around, if you want to," he offers again, watching her rather than the machine. "...and the lights and alarm really are controlled upstairs, I wasn't just..."
Trying to stall so they could have hot, sweaty, engineer sex on the floor.
no subject
"I got my girl to get back to, though..." her eyes suddenly snap wide. "How long have I been here? The cap'n'll be
no subject
"...after I find pants, anywaaa... how did they get over here?"
no subject
"Guess I kinda lost track," she says. "I guess I could hope he'll be to glad to see me to start yellin'"
