Steph looks up from Miki and smiles at her gratefully, even as she shifts to snuggle into Sokka's side, taking shameless advantage of that supporting arm.
"Thank you, so much, seriously. It's really nice to be around people again." She'd make some joke about Sokka not being a real person, but she worries they might believe her.
Instead she just leans back against his shoulder, grinning a little as the collar of his furs tickle her neck, and carefully detaches Miki from her left breast to shift him over to the right.
