This ain't Persephone.

Kaylee ain't exactly sure what this place is, but it ain't Persephone. And that wall with "Eden" written on it, that ain't Serenity, which it should be, seeing as she just left her.

"Uh..." she hazards, rotating around slowly, checking out her surroundings, her smile fading with worry. "Cap'n?"

"That much," Sokka repeats, but his grin shows that he's kidding.

A little.

She stops walking and Sokka can't go much further, with their hands still locked. Besides, the question stops him dead anyway and he has to spend the next few moments blinking at her.

"...you've got to know that... I mean, you do have mirrors on your ship, right?"

"Some o' the engine parts are kinda shiny," Kaylee allows. "An' there's more'n a few mirrors in the Amassador's shuttle, but I ain't exactly her."

He laughs at that, grinning at her, still a little dumbfounded by her reaction. "Well, hell, Kaylee, you don't need to look like someone else to be-- well, yeah, beautiful. You're not the first girl I've ever seen and I can still see it."

It's easier since he thought the same thing eight years ago, but he probably didn't need the help.

"Now I know you just ain't had a good roll for a long time," Kaylee remarks lightly.

He doesn't answer quite as quickly, giving her a halting, "--M-a-ybe." But the smile is genuine and the shrug is sheepish and he gives her hand a slight squeeze. "Doesn't mean I haven't seen people and... anyway, I wouldn't flatter you for sex. You offered before saying anything, I'm just trying to tell you why I'm... surprised about the offer."

Because she's beautiful and brilliant and has no idea who he is.

"Now, I was just asking," Kaylee protests. But she is flattered now and her smile shows it.

"I mean, it's not that I wouldn't offer, and if you wanna... it's been a mighty long time... not that you're a sight or anything..."

Flustered, she breaks off. "The offer's there."

He laughs, abrupt and surprised and honestly amused when she says he's not a sight, grinning at her. And it's that more than any wisdom on his part that stops him from asking her if she's sure she's going to leave.

Still holding her hand, Sokka gives it a small squeeze than a firmer tug to bring her closer, dips down to her height and kisses her before he can wimp out of it.

It's not demanding and passionate, though that's not entirely hidden either, just waiting in the wings for permission, some sort of signal. Or maybe they just need to hang out by the generator again. Either way, it's slow and sweet and-- pretty much sums up their encounter so far.

She's grinning by the time his lips touch hers, biting back another laugh. Her free hand wraps around his back to pull him close and she closes her eyes.

It's confident and gentle and affectionate, but Kaylee's doing this because it's fun - no hint of needing more depsite what she said. Completely enjoying the moment.

Pulled in is like permission, isn't it?

Releasing her hand to draw up her arm and around the back of her neck, Sokka exhales once, release, and then tilts his head to kiss her again, a little harder, a little deeper.

Just for fun.

That's why he's grinning between kisses anyway.

And when Kaylee's hand is released, it curls around to find a butt cheek - and whatever she finds, she

Sokka did not squeak.

He did not, by any means, squeak.



Because he swallowed that sound down as fast as he damn well could.

But... if she's going to be like that...

Then there's no problem with, for the moment, as an experiment, where the constant is Kaylee and the factor is pressure, forgetting about good and sweet and honorable and just backing her up against a wall to kiss a little harder, a little more demanding, and with his hands on a little more hips.

Kaylee did squeak. But that's OK, because it was a good squeak, surprised, and laughing and damn well having a good time. She has to stand on her toes to reach him anyway, so pushing her back causes her to stumbles just a little, grabbing on to his arms to stay up.

But she doesn't say anything. She can't - her mouth's full.

Sokka doesn't mind her mouth full - even if it makes grinning harder. He still makes a valiant effort!

He's bending for her, too, not wanting her to have to stretch too much. When she stumbles, his hands tighten on her hips to steady her, but once she's braced against the wall, palms rise to stroke against her ribs.

It's outside her clothing but the fifteen year old in him is squealing with absolute joy.

Braced against the wall is just shiny, now her ankles wrap around his and her hands are free to roam themselves, creeping around the waist where his shirt and panst leave access to warm skin - her nimble fingers explore and trace scars without a single hesitation.

And eveytime she breathes it's with a tiny squeak of pleasure.

After years of just Steph, who never really made noise with her Bat training, those tiny squeaks are met with tiny hitches of Sokka's breath.

Better aphrodisiac than any engine.

And since she's opened the door to skin-on-skin, his hands are carefully sliding beneath her shirt, smoothing over her skin from her belly, around her ribs, sliding up her back.

Ticklish, Kaylee squirms unneccessarily under his touch, writhing from something as simple as fingers on her ribs.

She gets over this by pulling him more firmly to her, one hand under his belt, the other firmly between his shoulder blades, well and truly under his shirt.

He laughs at her for squirming, meeting the writhes of her body with rocks of his, breathless as he drags his mouth from hers to kiss her neck, suck on the skin there. He doesn't wear a belt (and never quite got the point of boxers) but since his only answer to the hand at his shoulders is to roll them against her touch, Sokka certainly wouldn't be adverse to losing that part of his clothing.

And, not wanting to tickle her, his hands are in a similar spot a moment later, brushing the clasp of her bra.

Kaylee gasps against him, biting lightly ont he top of his head and hairline, before her hand are around to his shirt, pulling at it irritatingly. Her laughter doesn't subside much, except for the moans everytime his mouth hits somewhere sensitive.

And turned on right now, everywhere's sensitive.

Lucky for Sokka!

His hands slide out of her shirt just long enough to help pull his off, grinning and laughing at her before he's leaned in again, curling one hand around her neck to pull her in even as he presses back against the wall. And while it's been a while and his fingers aren't nearly so nimble about this as they used to be, it only takes him a couple of second to flick the clasp of her bra open.

Which is about when he realizes he should probably be trying to get her shirt off, too, pinching the cloth at her belly to give it a tug and grin at her.

When Sokka puches her in, Kaylee's legs wrap further around his, onw rising up to his waist to hold him to her. Meanwhile she chuckles and reaches behind her neck to undo the dungarees tied there, letting the front drop as she struggles out of her shirt, grabbing his back to steady her.

A hand slides to her hip to help her steady - if she's shaky, Sokka will be happy, but if she's falling over it ruins the mood a little. And since that particular hip is connected to the leg around his waist, he can run his hand down her thigh.

Whatever else he runs his hand down depends on whether or not Kaylee is wearing a skirt.

Sokka, meet Kaylee. It's possible you two aren't well acquainted yet.

Because she is most definitely not wearing a skirt. The shirt falling to the floor may be light, bright and colourful, but the rest of her outfit is practical, dirty, and mostly made of thick cotton.

With the top undone, her overalls gather in the space between them, as far it it can, because she's pulling him in tight between her legs, and kissing his beard and neck fiercely.

Well, she was wearing a dress when she boned Bender in Out of Gas!

There are buttons on the hips of her overalls, as Sokka discovers with his hand on her thigh, and those are getting undone while he tips his head back, letting her kiss wherever she likes-- well, other than where his necklace gets in the way. Once the overalls are as open as they're going to get without falling down between them, his plan had been to slip a hand inside.

The problem with that is that once she pulls him in that close, Sokka's hips are rolling against hers with no intention of stopping, much less pulling back to let her pants fall. Besides, her leg is still hooked at his waist and he quite likes it there.

This could be a problem, but it's not going to be yet. Kaylee tosses her long hair out of her way and concentrates on his neck, collarbone and chest, nibbling and kissing by turns.

It's a while before she does finally notice that, "we still got pants in the equation."

"I know, but you've got this undefinable way of being completely distracting..."

Sokka's trying to keep up with the distractions, but it's not until she speaks that he realizes her bra is still on.

Once that's off, it's easier to keep up with her.
